2006-2007 Grant Winners

Initial Foundation Initiatives:

 

District Initiatives for Student Academic Enrichment (up to $100,000 per initiative) will provide funds for specific initiatives benefiting all students that complement and align with the District Strategic Plan. District initiatives may include, but are not limited to, extended year student development.

Campus Initiatives for Instructional Enhancement (up to $2,500 per campus) will provide funds for initiatives unique to the individual campus that complement and align with the Campus Improvement Plan.

 

Student Leadership Development Grants (up to $1,000 for individual or $3,000 per individual campus initiative) will provide funds for enhanced leadership opportunities congruent with the District Mission Statement in order to create a broader base of student leadership.

 

Future Foundation Initiatives:

Fine Arts Initiatives (up to $100,000/initiative) will provide funds for initiatives that encourage and help students develop interest and talent in the Fine Arts.

 

Professional Development Initiative (up to $750/individual or up to $75,000/initiative) will provide funds for instructional personnel to participate in workshops, seminars or conferences in areas of specialization or for a district-wide initiative congruent with the District Strategic Plan.

 

Math, Science and Technology Initiatives (up to $100,000/ initiative) will provide funds for initiatives in math, science and technology identified in the District Strategic Plan.

 

Staff Recognition Initiatives (up to $50,000/initiative) will provide funds to recognize staff for distinguished service in pursuit of educational excellence.
