Since 2004 the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation has funded 650 programs totaling more than $2.6 Million.
The Mesquite ISD Education Foundation provides funds for projects outside the regular school district budget through a grant application process. Funds donated by the greater community enhance innovative programs that benefit students and support teacher initiatives and growth. Grant applications must align with the Campus/District Improvement Plan, established curriculum framework, and co-curricular activities.
Large Innovation Grants:
Large Innovation Grants must be a minimum of $10,000 and no more than $20,000. The Education Foundation is seeking to fun high impact innovation that challenges the norm.
Small Innovation Grants:
Mesquite ISD campuses are eligible to receive a maximum of $3.00 per student enrolled, or no less than $1,500. Enrollment is based on the PEIMS “snapshot” date. Campuses may submit multiple applications.
