Grants & Awards

Since 2004 the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation has funded more than 800 programs totaling close to $5 Million.

We provide financial support for projects outside the regular school district budget through a grant application process, exclusively for Mesquite ISD campuses. Funds donated by the greater community bring teacher ideas to life to promote classroom innovation and student growth.

The 2026-27 Grant Guidelines and Applications will be available in January 2026.

Innovation Grants:

Innovation Grants must be a minimum of $10,000 and no more than $15,000. The Education Foundation is seeking to fund high impact innovation that challenges norms.

Campus Grants:

Mesquite ISD campuses are eligible to receive a maximum of $3.00 per student enrolled, or no less than $2,000. Enrollment is based on the PEIMS “snapshot” date. Campus Grants may be innovative in nature but can also meet other more essential program and campus needs.
