Planned Giving
FOR KIDS - FOR TOMORROW. That is the motto of the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation. We are dedicated to providing individuals with opportunities to give in ways that will impact lives of MISD students both today and in the future.
WHAT IS PLANNED GIVING? Planned Giving allows individuals and businesses to support Mesquite ISD teachers and students beyond today. Planned Gifts allow you to make larger gifts than you might be able to make from your current income and there are a variety of options for gifts in support of Mesquite ISD.
TYPES OF PLANNED GIFTS:
- Endowments - Leave a lasting legacy for Mesquite ISD teachers and students by establishing an Endowment. A simple Named Endowment is a great way to honor a family member or loved one in perpetuity. A Donor Directed Endowment allows the donor to designate the endowment earnings to support a specific project. In either case, the principal of the gift will remain in tact in perpetuity.
- Cash - The easiest way to support Mesquite ISD teachers and students is through a cash gift, restricted for a program you choose. Cash gifts restricted for a specific program must have Board approval and be a minimum of $2,500.
- Gifts of Stocks, Bonds, IRA Rollover, Real Estate, Personal Property, and more.
